En las últimas semanas, System Of A Down, Disturbed, Foo Fighters o Soundgarden han visto cómo algunos de sus temas más icónicos entraban en el “Billions Club” de Spotify, confirmando la sólida presencia del género en las plataformas de streaming.
System Of A Down, Disturbed, Foo Fighters: nueva ola hacia los mil millones
Según Spotify, varios temas emblemáticos han superado recientemente la barrera simbólica de los mil millones de reproducciones. Entre ellos: Lonely Day (System Of A Down), The Sound Of Silence (Disturbed), The Pretender (Foo Fighters) y Black Hole Sun (Soundgarden).
A esta lista se suman Animal I Have Become de Three Days Grace y Dani California de Red Hot Chili Peppers, que sigue liderando con un total de siete canciones por encima del billón.
En cuanto a certificaciones en Estados Unidos, Disturbed domina con claridad (9x platino), por delante de Three Days Grace (8x) y Red Hot Chili Peppers (5x). Foo Fighters alcanza el doble platino, mientras que System Of A Down logra el platino. Pese a su enorme popularidad, Black Hole Sun sigue sin certificación oficial.
